Healing Comes by Faith

Living by faith begins with an open heart, ready to receive God’s wisdom. The Bible offers many examples of healing through Jesus, reminding us that He welcomes all who come to Him in faith. He said if you ask anything in my name, I will give it to you, so, healing is part of the anything. Healing is part of God’s promise, and faith is the key to receiving His blessings.

Ask yourself: What might be holding back your faith? Is it unresolved sin, unforgiveness, financial habits, or health practices? Often, our physical and financial challenges are connected. True faith means trusting God in every area of life—including our giving. Joyful giving honors God and reflects the condition of our hearts.

Religion says, “I don’t know if it’s God’s will to heal me or not.” NO, absolutely, no! Remember, God’s will is for you to be healed. You cannot earn His favor; instead, rely on His mercy and compassion in every situation.

Healing belongs to you

Healing is available to you through Christ but are you ready to receive it. Scripture affirms this in Isaiah and 1 Peter 2:24, which declare that Jesus has already paid the price for your healing. Receiving healing requires abiding in Christ and growing your faith in the truth of God’s Word.

Some may teach that God heals only occasionally, but Scripture shows that healing is always God’s will. Jesus said we would do the works He did—and even greater.

Well, do you see preachers doing what Christ did and even greater things? Healing was one of those things, it’s His will. They are the ones who have prevented people from being healed because of their lack of faith. Since Jesus already paid the price for your healing then it’s up to you to grow your faith to the truth of the Word and not to what preachers try to tell you. If we are not seeing these results from our preachers, it is often due to their lack of faith, not God’s unwillingness.

Over time, traditions and interpretations have sometimes overshadowed the simple truth of God’s promises. Yet, the Bible assures us that all God’s promises are “yes and amen.” Jesus took stripes upon Himself for your healing, and that is His promise to you.

Faith responds to God’s Word

Fear-based people question everything, so it’s very difficult for fear-based people to receive. However, the Word of God always brings healing. Apply God’s Word to your situation, and don’t consider what you see; only believe what God has promised (Romans 4:21-25). Take the Word of God, stand on it and forgive (Mark 11:22-25). Faith doesn’t work in an unforgiving heart.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Faith responds to God’s Word. Faith is a spiritual law, and it’s predictable and dependable.

Gods’ Word heals people and delivers them from their destructions (Psalm 107:20). You must obey His instructions to be able to receive from God. You must move from doubt to faith in Jesus Christ to be healed. The Word says you are healed so, believe it and receive it into your heart. However, it’s not always received. God has done everything He is going to do about healing you. If you don’t believe the Word of God, then you won’t get answers.

Follow God’s instructions by faith

When you follow God’s instructions by faith, you will receive your healing. You have what you say. When you change the words, you speak on healing you’ll change the outcome. The woman in Mark 5 said, “I know I will be healed when I touch Jesus’ clothes.” She said it, she did it, and then she had her healing. You do the same thing. You say it, you believe it, and you do it, and you will have your results. Know what scriptures you are standing on for healing (Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24). Don’t listen to what other people say, your faith is in what God says in His Word.

When you speak the words, “I am healed,” you’ve moved your faith forwards, and you’re not going back. Your faith is based on the rock of God’s Word. Your faith is working right now! Search for other scriptures that describe what you want and stand on them. Determine never to back down from faith in God and His Word.

Stop fears in its tracks

Jesus told Jairus, “Be not afraid, only believe” (Mark 5:36). That means Jairus had a choice whether to fear or not. Jesus said, “Believe only, and she will be made whole.” Jesus used His words as an instrument. He told the girl, “I say unto you, arise.” The damsel arose (Mark 5:41-42). Love-filled faith will cast out fear. We have a choice to receive fear or stand in faith.

Pay attention to your words, because the angels are listening for your words that agree with God’s Word, and the devil also listens to your words because he wants to steer you in the wrong direction. Don’t pay attention to him, he is a defeated foe! There are spiritual laws that work whether you mean what you say or not. Jesus is the same Man who is interested in your body being healed, your brain working right, and your mind having peace. He’s interested in you being prosperous and not beat up, your memory working right, and your eyes and ears working right.

Faith draws upon the healing power of God. Build your faith by mediating on God’s Word and speaking in agreement with His Word. Victory only comes to them who believe, receive and act on the Word of God. Obedience is the key to Faith and victory.
