Believing Faith
Have Faith
Jesus said, “Have faith” because without faith, it’s impossible to receive anything from God, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, for He who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6) MEV.
Jesus said, believe that you receive and you will have what you asked for. We are to speak to the mountains in our lives without doubt.
Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.” (Mark 11:22-23) MEV
Praying in Faith
Jesus went on to add the requirement about praying in faith. “Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you will receive them.” (Mark 11:24) Mev.
The things you pray for will come to pass when you start believing immediately. Whatever you desire will come to pass, if you commit yourself to the Lord and trust Him. “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass.” (Psalm 37:4-5) MEV
Forgive, to Receive
Why is it so important to forgive? Because without forgiveness, which is a sin, faith becomes blocked you and you lose your freedom for answered prayer. You won’t receive anything from the Lord.
The mountains in your life will remain, and you won’t be entitled to healing, prosperity or any other blessings. Forgiveness frees up the blessings of the Lord.
So, when you stand praying, then forgive. “And when you stand praying, forgive if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven may also forgive you your sins. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your sins.” (Mark 11:25-26) MEV.
Control words and thoughts
It’s important to control your words and thoughts. Speak the words of faith about your situation. Keep your mind free of offensive and negative thoughts that don’t align with the Word of God.
If there is anything in your life that doesn’t align with the Word of God, repent of it, that includes unforgiveness or worry on your mind. Then obey the word which says, “and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that you put on the new nature, which was created according to God in righteousness and true holiness.” (Ephesians 4:23-24) MEV.
It is Jesus who has our back
Jesus gave Himself so we could have eternal life with Him. He forgives us as His blood cleanses us from all sin and unrighteousness.
He sent His Holy Spirit to live in us, to guide us, comfort us and to convict us of sin. He blesses us as we walk with him daily. He said He will never leave us nor forsake us.
It was Jesus who said we are to love the Lord our God and to love one another as He has loved us.
So, this is how our life should be. “Therefore, be imitators of God as beloved children. Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us as a fragrant offering and a sacrifice to God.” (Ephesians 5:1-2) MEV
Decision time
If you have never asked Jesus to come into your life now is the time to make your life right with God and accept Jesus into your life.
God loves you so much, and He’s offering you an abundant life that is full of vision here on earth and eternal life with Him in Heaven. The cross of Jesus is your path to His great redemption plan for you, a plan to bring you into a personal relationship with Him. He’s ready to come into your life and help you make a change if you want Him to.
Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised His from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved”.
The above is the upside to becoming a Christian, however there is a downside as well. Christians are hated and ridiculed by non-Christian, family, friends and the world. You may become an outsider to family and friends who will reject you and what you believe. So, you must be sure you want and believe in your heart that the upside is more important in your life than the downside.
Prayer of Salvation
This must be a decision from your heart and not from your mind. If you are ready to accept Jesus into your life, then speak the following prayer aloud.
“Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I repent and want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name amen.”
If you have said this prayer with your heart, you are now an adopted child of God and heir with Jesus Christ and entitled to eternal life with Him. His Holy Spirit has come to live inside you. The Holy Spirit will comfort, guide, lead and convict you of sins so you may ask forgiveness.
Congratulations, your name has now been written in the Lords’ book of life which means you will have eternal life with Him. Now go and find yourself a bible believing, loving church, so you may grow in your new life.
